About the author
My name, Eunice, is just the way my life is, it means joyous victory. Life, although not always easy, but for me, one on-going victorious happening after the other! I love the many diverse blessings that we live with every day.
I love life, the abundance of colours as a day breaks, the smell of early morning, the promise in another day, new beginnings – and that happens every day!
My life revolves around the essence of people that is made up of the sum total of their relationships. Relationship with themselves, relationship with people influencing one’s life, i.e. family, friends, colleagues, strangers, and also relationship with God.
The greatest accomplishment to me in life is working to see dreams change into reality and to live flat-out in fullness of life. Having a high level of energy is an absolute blessing; therefore I give back to others whatever I can.
I am privileged to come from a very large family where the intricate patterns of fulfilment of one’s live is measured out in the mixture of good times, sad experiences, growing up and sometimes growing away from people very close to your heart, meeting and welcoming into the family new ones, saying goodbye to others – but always the love bonds that are there. Not always seen, but always knowing it is there. What an awesome life schedule that weaves our lives so delicately and colourful together!
On a professional note, I worked with the inside of people’s lives for almost 30 years in various settings, but more closely in counselling and walking alongside those who felt broken by life’s difficulties. As a relationship therapist I have a special love for those who want to better the lives they live by being willing to change. They make choices and before long, their lives takes off in that direction and that change bring about change in the world around them! It is amazing what a seemingly “insignificant person” can achieve when they start discovering and believing who they are, encouraged by a little love, support and attention.
From this background I wrote Miracle of New Life, a book for the parents of unborn babies, to assist them in laying a strong foundation in their new baby’s life, even before birth. It starts there, before the little One has seen the first daylight and continues throughout his/her live. Parents who understand the value of this precious tiny human being, touches the lives of their family. This effect circles out to touch and bring about change in friends and loved one’s lives around them. This spreads out to the community they work and live in and that has an influence on whole territories – we can change the world by caring, giving, nurturing and empowering those around us.
I love people, love to share what I know where it might be needed. I took a huge step of faith in launching the book and DVD, Miracle of New Life (available in English and Afrikaans) and following those steps, I am taking it step by step into every day...
My passion is driven by the sheer knowledge that we are here on earth for such a short period of time in comparison to eternity – we must, we need to do the most we can. Time, all too soon runs out, to accomplish our dreams. My dreams, deep inside my heart, are larger than life itself and I do believe that it is possible to see those dreams in action. The results of those dreams are, as it often is, applicable for this generation, but will mostly be enjoyed and stepped into by the coming generations.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Celebrate and have joy on every possible occasion. Love yourself and guard your heart more than anything else because it is from the heart that life flows....
